During the First World War, it was used as a naval hospital, and later, from 1965 to 1972 it was a school. It has an impressive total of 189 rooms.
Dunvegan Castle
This castle is located in the beautiful Isle of Skye (that by the way, is one of the most romantic destinations in the UK) and surrounded by flourishing woodland. It is the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Scotland. Inside, it is filled with old treasures just waiting to be discovered by the visitors.
